A clear route. A good meal. Enough time to enjoy both.
Hi, I’m Alex. I’ve spent twelve years in Australia and the rest of my life in Korea, and traveled to more than twenty countries. Living between Korea and Australia has helped me understand both the local habits that feel familiar and the small things that can leave a visitor puzzled.
I’m interested in how a trip fits together. Where you stay shapes your evenings, a train journey can take up more of the day than you expect, and a proper lunch deserves a place in the itinerary. I write about routes, transport, food and heritage, with enough practical detail to help you make your own choices.
My approach is straightforward: understand the journey, decide what matters to you and leave yourself some breathing room. A palace, a neighborhood market and a good meal can be a full day. Adding three more districts doesn’t necessarily make it a better one.
I want my guides to give you the confidence to explore and the freedom to change your plans. You don’t have to see everything to come home with plenty to remember.
